Ever since I was little kid, the tradition usually was after Thanksgiving dinner my sister and I would write out a Christmas list for our family. My lists would usually be about a page long full of movies, CDs, books, and a mostly gift cards to my favorite stores. This year, the only things I could think of for Myke and I are gift cards to iTunes and Target.
Sounds lame now.
Now that time has passed, I have a couple new things on my list, but the items are a little pricey...

I would give anything to have either of these. I have had the same laptop (with many updates) since 2007 and Myke and I both want a camera so we can take better pictures for ourselves and the blog.
After I thought of those two big ticket items, I felt very grown up. I think of these things as items as tools for continuing my creative development.
Let's keep our fingers crossed :) Does anyone have any big ticket items on their Christmas list?

Tim and I have the Eos Rebel and we're completely smitten with it. It's a great camera for the money! Costco sells 'em for a pretty good price, and I've seen a few on Craigslist for great deals (people upgrading, they're usually in good shape)
ReplyDeleteThanks Brittany! We might do that, maybe some Christmas money will help ;)
Deletethink next year I'll be putting a nice camera on our list...
ReplyDeleteI feel like it should be a staple for newlyweds. I should have put it on our wedding registry! :)
DeleteThat is such a beautiful camera! I've been begging for one (from my parents, grandparents, husband, in-laws, random strangers on the street... you know!) since my last camera was stolen. :( I'm hoping that this is the year!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my life! I keep telling people-just get me that! I don't want anything else! Hopefully this will be the year! :)
