Today I have realized that I am living in two seperate worlds...
One is in a futuristic world. It is where they choose people to die for the wold's entertainment. This book so far is very exciting and I'm continuing to enjoy it.
The second world is a world that I have only read about in history. A time where blacks were not equal and they served white people. One woman had the courage to write a book about the wonderful people who do this dirty work. This book is beautifully written and again, I'm enjoying reading this as well.
My time is being split between two worlds, but then if you add in a third, it is reality.
I'm glad I have two books that help me escape reality-not that my reality is bad, it's just fun to pretend.
The Hunger Games and To Kill A Mockingbird?

ReplyDeleteI'm reading The Hunger Games as well, I reached Chapter 17 last night, will probably finish it today! It's a great read!
ReplyDeleteMy friend is currently on book three and is raving about it. I'm going to see if I can bust out and finish it this week so I can focus on The Help :) and then move onto book 2!
